Best wishes to Pruney

So sorry to hear you are having some health issues, Pruney. I think you have to feel good to maintain enough stamina to stick with this program. I hope you are feeling better very soon. You have done so well, I know you can get back to it when you recover. Tell that Doctor Man to take good care of you! Yo Mama

50 Pounds

Today marks an important milestone in my weight loss journey. I have lost a total of 50 pounds. Yippiee!!!

It is hard to believe that if I were to lug around a 50 lb. sack of potatoes It would be the same as if I were still at my starting weight. I can't even imagine the wear and tear that must have been taking on my poor body.

I have been doing great on this round. Loosing about a pound a day. I am on my 12th VLC day today. In the past rounds, I had slowed down to about half a pound a day by this point but I'm still going strong.

I have really been concentrating on keeping my water intake up as much as possible. I know that this has helped me this round.

I'm sorry that I have not been blogging much this week. I've been pretty busy and just have not had the time.

I have received word that Pruney is taking a break from the diet. She is going through a very stressful time right now and that coupled with some stomach ailments has caused her to stop for now. She tells me that she is working on maintaining her current weight. Best wishes go out to her.

That is all for now. I hope the picture of the taters dosen't give anyone any crazy ideas that they will later live to regret.

Remember, if it is not on the list the answer is NO.

Yo Mama is off to a good start

Hey Kooties! Where did everyone go? Last week we were all writing like crazy and then it all quit at the weekend. I just wanted to share my successful start of round 2. Yesterday was the first day after the gorge and I dropped 2 pounds. Another 2 disappeared today. Yippee! I think I am gong to do better this time, although I am very proud of my success last round. I have done a lot of reading since then, and I think I understand the process better. This time I plan to drink a lot more water (even though I had about 2 litres a day last time). I am not going to mix my vegetables, and if I have fish for lunch I will have chicken for dinner rather than repeating the same thing. I ate lots of apples last time and seemed to do well with them. Osbert & Pruney, I am interested to hear how some of your modifications are working out. Yours for a skinnier, healthier bod. Yo Mama

Body By Kootie

You asked for it... The "Body By Kootie" 2009 lineup is revealed.

Click on image for a more detailed view.

The weekend is here

Dearest Kooties,

I am happy to report that here in the North, the sun is shining and It is going to be a lovely day.

I was blessed to have 2.2 pounds taken by the fat goblins overnight. That takes me down to an even 215. A total of 43 pounds lost thanks to the hCG.

I adjusted my dosage yesterday. I have increased it to 175 i.u. and think that it may have contributed to my success yesterday. I was less hungry and I lost weight. For dinner yesterday I had a nice piece of fillet minion and asparagus. It was quite tasty.

I am very excited about the "Body By Kootie" TM fashion line that was announced earlier today. I believe that it will be a huge success. I hope to meet with executives at Nordstrom, Dillards, and Wal-Mart sometime in the near future to see if they would like to carry the line. I had thought about trying to do it as an independant distributorship but I just don't think that I will be able to handle the demand.

Tonight, we are going over to some friends for dinner. I think that it is not going to be fun at all for me. Oh well, I will survive.

Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Nothing Lost Nothing Gained

Hello and Good Morning,

The "Lord" giveth and the "Lord" taketh and sometime he does nothin... I got nothin...

I didn't loose one single ounce nor did I gain... Very upsetting for Mrs Pruney this morning so I am flying around this house on my broom.. Yes ...Broom..

I had a good day yesterday which makes me very concerned. I did not cheat what so ever.... I was perfect... Getting up this morning and see this reading on the scale is very disturbing. I wonder is the scale is broke? I think I will go buy 3 new scales today to make sure I am getting a correct reading.. I would think one of them would read a pound down....

As you know we have a pool... I have noticed that in the past I am able to swim in the deep end without treading water... I thought maybe Bruce added enormous amounts of salt to the water to keep us afloat.. It never occurred to me that it was my fat body keep me a float. Sooooooooo today we are going fishing and I am going to jump in the water and hope I sink... I think this would be a great way to see if I lost today or not... Its time to test the waters...

That is all from Mrs Pruney today...

If you don't hear from me tomorrow you will know that I am at the bottom of Quail and things are all good.. I will make sure Bruce puts a hook in my mouth to pull me out should I sink... Nothing like catching a WHALE right???

Yo Mama.... Have a nice two days at pigging out... I do not envy you... Eat that Bread that your missing... To bad Bruce isn't there to bake for you... Keep us posted as to how your doing. I will send you my picture of the Beached Whale if you need it..

For Now.... Princess Pruney

Remember.... Its not what we get off during the diet, but what we keep off after we are done..
We must change our eating habits or we will all be fat again...
